geometry made pivots. The gun is just a place holding stand-in.

I actually didn't do any concept art before starting on this particular model.
Regarding the texturing, I did something a little different. Instead of doing the normal gadget painting, I decided to go with a lot of flat coloring - meaning each polygon facet has a slightly different shade of green. And instead of hiding the edges I try to accentuate them with subtle shading.
Here's a screen shot showing a little more of the suit.
I'm not employed at this time, I'm actually looking for work.
I have worked in the industry though, two years.
