Hi, I came across this problem while trying to edit my weighting in component editor.
Basically I got this vertice that has values for the pelvicJNT and R_hipJNT, and I
want to balance it out by giving it some value from L_hipJNT. But everytime I add
some value to L_hipJNT for that vertice, it keeps switching the values between only
two of the JNTs and not all three.

ex. pelvicJNT:0.5 and R_hipJNT:0.5
Then added 0.25 to L_hipJNT and it changes to PelvicJNT:0.75 and L_hipJNT:0.25

I've tried changing both hipJNTs' value at the same to 0.25 but still get the same
result.

Does anyone have any tips on getting around this problem?

Hi..!
Thats fine .. so now you can goto Skin> Edit smooth Skin>Set max Influence> and change the max influence to 3 and Apply. Before doing this Hold on the weight of the other bone in the skin cluster by going to Skin> Edit smooth Skin>Paint Skin weight tool.
