View Full Version : Particles / TP leaving "marks"

Hi!

I need to have particles (either the normal ones, or tp) leave a "spot" on a plane, as if they were photons hitting a photographic film. Either I am missing something very simple, like having the particle draw on a texture (is that possible?), or I need tp to calculate the collision point and than set a texture that simulates a dot.

Any tips?

try a PDeflector node, and for the shading use proximal shader

... and to make them stick upon the plane, set "Bounce" to 0.

You should be able to to use pfreeze icw with the proximal shader to leave trails on any object.
