My next flash game project is going to be 'Tombscape 2' and I will be posting my progress and behind the scenes images in this thread in an effort to be more open about the process. I will also be posting some small flash demos of fx, puzzles for testing/feedback so feel free to comment on em.
I will also be switching from Swishmax 3 (AS2) to Flash CS4 and AS3 on this project (not liking AS3 as of yet)
I am basing this Point & Click game in a cave/temple of Mayan origin! I have a bunch of reference pics and material to read through so I will be formulating a storyline as I go (as usual) but there will be no 2012 end of the world crap (well maybe a hint at it) I hope to base the game in a detailed 'main' room with a couple of siderooms to unlock before escaping so I want to keep it simple. I also want to add plenty of puzzles so I'll be posting some images/tests of those as I go along and looking for a little feedback.
Anyway to kick things off heres a couple of simple renders, Models done in C4D, detailed in Zbrush and then re-rendered in C4D...very basic stuff so far, more complex stuff on the way ;-)
