anyone ? do you guys understand what i want ?
Okay, Firstly if you go to the fields tab, you will see that there are many different types of fields,eg Gravity, Air, Newton, Turbulence etc.
You have to decide what type of field you want to apply to your cloth. (Im guessing you may want gravity)
If you wanted to use gravity for example, go to Fields > Gravity (options dialogue box).
Inside the dialogue box is the option to name the gravity field.
By default Maya should simulate earths gravitational pull, so it should be fine to use the default settings for a test.
Go ahead and create a gravity field on your cloth object.
This will only work if your cloth object has been made into an active rigid body.
Is this what you were after ?
I hope it was some help !

hmm..thanks for your help Ajay... but that's not the way field is applied to cloth... at least that's what i've been told.. have you used cloth? it's not the same...
cloth has gravity by default which is manipulated thrgh the cloth's options.. i need to apply some kinda wind or turbulence to it...
anyway, thanks for trying :)
Sorry, I have used dynamics alot but not cloth. I thought maybe it was similar. Sorry I couldnt be of help, I know what its like when you have one small thing stopping you form progressing.
I hope someone else can help you !
