I will be using it mainly for test renders, watching tutorials and testing new stuff in 3dmax and After Effects. I was almost certain i would order either:

Dell Studio 1555 with ATI MOBILITY RADEON 4570HD , Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 and 4 gb ram

or

Dell Studio 1555 with ATI MOBILITY RADEON 4570HD , Intel Dual-Core T4300 and 4 gb ram

both have 15.6' displays and i dont need anything larger.
The difference in price is not much, but i could not choose between Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 and Intel Dual-Core T4300.

If you have other suggestions please write them down, choosing the right laptop is very important to me as i will not buy another one for the next couple of years.

If your going for the laptop, i'd say go with the core 2 duo. That's only if you REALLY REALLY need the portability. A desktop is best used for 3d apps. You'll get A LOT more for your money (probs double the computer power) AND you can upgrade it easily (costing you less money in the future as well as now) and it'll likely last longer because you won't be humfing it all over the place, dropping it or spilling things on it. You could even go as far as to make the desktop yourself, or get a company to build you one. You can have WHATEVER parts you want in it and a choice of cases.

good luck!
