View Full Version : Biped Problems
jnglemeat 05-20-2002, 07:38 PM i have several bipeds in one scene and all of the COM's(center of masses) are parented to a dummy that controlls the stage they are on. now my problem is when i try to anchor my feet to the floor all the pivot points are missing.
ive tried to unlink the COM from the dummy and try to anchor that way and that works fine. but i still need my characters to move with the stage. so my question is, if :anyone ever expirienced problems like this or similar? any solutions
thanks

You may be creating a dependency loop if you have the parent of the COM as the child of the floor you're trying to blend the feet to. Try using a constraint (link, surface or attach) to bind the COM parent node to the floor which would null the dependency loop.
or just..... kick the computer.
