Hey Russo :)
That looks pretty cool :bounce:
Your atmosphere is very nice, I think you captured the night time really nicely.
Your tree's don't seem to have any bump maps though :surprised But their faces are cool!! :applause:

hum.. thanks Leigh
I've used displacement and a lot of bump in the trees on the other side of the river but I didn't really use in the that is closer to the camera, I will fix it and... the next WIP will have FAERIES, FAERIES!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

That looks goregous. My only suggestion right now would be to add some lilly pads for the flowers to sit on that are floating on the water.

FAERIES!!!

Hey Russo - that is really looking very very cool
The faeries are great :applause:
I still don't think the bump on the trees looks right - it doesn't seem to match the colour map :surprised ....

The Time Serpent: yes.. maybe.. I will make some test here...
darken aquatic plants?

Pearson: Thanks! :wavey:
Bill Davinson: Thanks! :scream:

Leigh: dear, you wont' believe me, but I' ve used some of my 2D techniques:rolleyes: in this scene, perhaps for that some effects like bumps or colour map doesn't match as 3D resource, but trust me I used bump almost 200.... :bounce:

Nice work, but I think it would help a lot to work on the lighting. Your foreground, middle ground, and background elements are all blending together. Try looking at the image apart from all the texturing, and silhoutte your objects, especially the tree in the fg. Light it so that it is distinct from your bg elements. Also try using atmospheric effects (haze, etc...) to make your bg elements recede more into the background. Hope this helps.

Your foreground tree's texture looks 100% better in that no-light render. The bump map really jumps out in that latest pic. You might have already said this, but what app are you using. 'Cause I use Maya and I have lot's of problems with lights flattening my bumps.

Awww, man that is so incredibly BEAUTIFUL. I'm very impressed, it's got a great composition. Keep up the great work!!!!

ed_gross:I made two separated scenes, one with very strong yellow light and other without, so I made the composition later... as I said to Leigh, I've used 2D to ajust the light to the trees faeries, etc, the trees at fg doesn't receive light (black trees) :)

ZrO-1: thank's man, I'm using 3DsMAX 4.2 with final Render here, and Photoshop

windarr: thanks! :bounce:

I think right now the only thing I would tweak are the colors on the goblyn. Right now he seems a little over-saturated. I'd dull down the colors and maybe add a little variation to the green on him. That should tie the goblyn into the scene a lot better. Other than that your piece looks fantastic. I really like it.
