I'm thinking about getting into using motion capture files (using the BVH format). What I have done so far is import a BVH File, copy the keyframes in the Action Editor and paste those keyframes into the Action Editor for the Armature controlling my character.
The problem I have is this. The hips of the BVH files are in vastly different places. Is there a way to "offset" the hip bone to line up with my original Armature?
Also, I want to turn the BVH files into clips for use in the NLA. Any ideas on how to make sure the clips mix together smoothly?
