There seems to be a problem concerning the viewport rotation in 3dsmax with the MX 500 mouse. Alt + Mouse wheel button doenst seem to work.
Does anyone else has this problem or am i the only one here? Anyone knows a fix? This is all the driver's fault btw.:annoyed:

That is very easy to get back to. Just go to your controll panal, clock on mouse and then buttons. U will see a picture of your mouse. Go to the button which is your scroller button (on my mx700 it is number 6) and press modify and then find "middel button" in the selection window. Tell em if this works :)

ditto, my mx700 has had no problems after recently upgrading to logitech's newest driver and rebinding the buttons...

Doesn't work ostov :( damnit!

By the way.. Logitech released this " Logitech Mouseware Advanced Utility "

Following the release of the highly anticipated MouseWare 9.76 which finally allowed to assign all mouse buttons in games via a new game compatibility mode, Logitech now offers an advanced tweaker for their mice. It is called MouseWare Advanced Settings Utility (mwAdvanced.exe). This utility is designed to work with MouseWare 9.76 or above. Please verify you are using MouseWare 9.76 before downloading and using this utility.
Note: You may place this file any where on the systems hard drive but it is recommended that you copy or download it to the following location: C:\Program Files\LogitechMouseWareSystem\
Mouse behavior in some applications can be customized by adjusting some MouseWare settings. A simple utility, (mwAdvanced.exe) has been provided for such applications (i.e., games or CAD software), which makes it easier to adjust some MouseWare settings. Please note that this program only makes changes to the registry, it does NOT run in the background and is not a TSR, (Terminate Stay Resident) program. "

I treid this free app. And its pretty bullshit. Yes it does fix the problem but you have to run it every time you want to use max.
What a dissapointment. Anyone else have any suggestions?

I resorted to uninstalling mouseware. Yes max worked pefectly.. but now i cant use one of the buttons. I guess its a sacrifice. :annoyed:

BTW- I used version 9.78 mouseware
