Hey guys. I just bought a new shiny mouse.
( logitech MX500 ) and i got a few extra buttons.
Is there a way to assign one of the side buttons (ones that make you go back and forward in web pages) as a key to rotate in the viewport? or extrude? bevel? etc..

I have the Microsoft Intellimouse, and believe that they are similar. You should be able to set those buttons in the control panel to the Ctrl and Alt keys. Once they are set there, then you can use those buttons in Max instead of the keyboard. Just be sure you load the software that came with the mouse first or else you'll just get the generic mouse controls in the panel.
