Hi

I am looking for an ambitious and talented animator who would like to join me in my graduation project. It's a short poetic story of a tree, who gets a glimpse at a world he will never be able to comprehend.

The character that needs animation is a sweet little girl, that will gather apples and stones, or simply have fun on a meadow. She will then approach the tree, interact, giggle and troll away. It's a fun job, and offers a lot of freedom to the animator.

The girl will be visible for 1044 frames. fullbody animation part: 400 frames. Some facial animation, but not all the time. The animation needs to be finished by mid-february (3 weeks from now)!

Software requirements: 3dsmax and Puppetshop. The girl has been rigged, but not skinned yet. If you are an experienced rigger, you are welcome to add to or manipulate the rig to your own preferences.

The short is my graduation project at the university of applied sciences Mainz and will be rendered in stereo 3d. Hopefully it's going to do well in this years film-festival season, and the footage will look good on any demoreel.

If you are interested please reply to this thread, pm me, or send an email to shelton.david@yahoo.de. It's not a paying job, but any profit will certainly be shared.

and here's some footage:

looking forward to all applications, David
