View Full Version : Using bones for deforming muscles + exporting

Hi all, first post and I'm hoping someone here can assist.

For a project I've been tasked with making a simple anatomical Hip/Thigh/Leg setup, this is then to have the muscles added on top and then rigged so that when the leg moves, the muscles deform as they would in real life.

From what I already know, the best way of doing this is to use bones, IK and squash/stretch.

So first question, is this the best way to go about this, without needing months of development tine?

Secondly, can this then be exported to a simple viewer like Swirlviewer or some other 3d for web viewer? (this is a key area of the project)

And finally, could anybody suggest different methods for going about this?

Many thanks.
