CGTalk - wip: childrens book

i'm currently doing a childrens book
for a competition by ANA,
deadline is saturday, started on sunday,
have all the line drawings by now and
started color in ps today.
i have nearly no exp as a painter, and
working ion color generally.
so c/c more then welcome!

Okay works now.. It has a nice painterly effect. I moght bring some more color to the boy and bring out the detail in his face.

well, i made it in time, though i had to change the style a little to less painterly,
and less time consuming.will continue
practicing painting, though.
maybe the ui of the brushes in ps7 isn't the best, but they sure come in handy for childrens books stuff, kind of like potatoprint.
