View Full Version : No extension burned on CD: Can I read it on windows?
Rudity 08-27-2003, 10:58 PM I have a cd with a wave file on it. It was burned on a mac, and Im pretty sure doesn't have a file extension because I can't see it.
Is there anyway to view the contents of the cd if it doesn't have a file extension.
I'm using windows XP Pro.
Thanks.

you should be able to just copy it to your desktop and add the extension, should work fine.

Hmmm?? No file shows up at all for me to copy though.
Well I'm going to go find a Mac and find out for sure. The CD could be FUBAR too. ( I hope not)
Thanks for the reply.
