Hi,
I've been searching for it but can't find it!
I remember a few years ago there were a few threads about this technique in 3dsmax that it involved baking a radiosity solution that represented the translucency, and baking it on the vertex channel or something like that, for dynamic SSS.
If I made any sense, could anyone point me to the thread that explained how that works, or maybe just explain me how that thing worked, or similar workflows?
I know there are much more advance techniques for SSS nowadays but I'm concerned about that, because it could be really useful for some realtime shader we're working on.
Thanks,
Albert.
