Like I said no promises but here's my reference.

It's going to have something to do with this guy,
http://pics.fort90.com/journal/godzilla.jpg

And then this fella,
http://passitonsv.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/smooth-criminal.jpg

Throw in a group of these guys,
http://nymag.com/images/2/daily/intel/08/04/24_ninjas_lgl.jpg

And finally an intergalactic pimp to tell us the tale.

Some of my favorite cheesy B-Movie elements all rolled into one bad image. Not copying them exactly is going to be the hard part.

So let me get this straight. Godzilla, Michael Jackson, ninjas and pimps...

I think we have a winner already.

Good luck Wyatt.

thebest - Thanks bro

Rage - Hehe, my ideas are always great. Too bad they never get done. :banghead:

Wyatt - do not go to the dark side, those guys are all high budget...
Korendo, clearly I am no competition to you. After reading this I can tell you are so in your element I might as well give up now. :D

How about Michel Jackson dancing on Godzilla? Or Godzilla fighting a vacuum cleaner? That enough ranting from me. But please push on...I really hope to see your concepts and work!

my ideas are always great. Too bad they never get done.

That's what I was thinking about...
And what about selling your ideas to people ?
Anyway, nice to see you around and if you do something, it will be a pleasure to follow !
See ya... Maybe...

Greetings Wyatt,

Humm, your 3D assest may work well for this.... Predator Mask on the girl's body ect.

My comment about going to the dark-side was an attempt at humor, the really old and cheap B-movies really were so bad they were good. I had hoped sharing a perspective on a beatnik way of thought, kind of dada constructionist, might spark something creative. "Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper." - Robert Frost.

You are in the concept stage, so off-the-wall brainstorming can sometimes lead to good outcomes. As for somehow having this contest in the bag, thank for that great vote of confidence, but are you referring to the De-motivational Speaker Category or the Abuse of Broccoli Category?

Outside ideas of right doing and wrong doing there is a field. I'll meet you there. ~ Rumi

And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. -Anais Nin

Best of luck on all your endeavors,

I gotcha Korendo. I don't believe we've spoken before this so just so you know, I'm always trying to make people laugh. I appreciate your humor.

And what about selling your ideas to people ?
Man if you figure out how to do that let me know.

The Baton Rouge skyline is way too sparse so the next best thing, New Orleans. The Superdome is going to be a central element.

Come on Wyatt... this thread needs an update

The Nola skyline sets a very unique landscape for a B-Movie aesthetic, how exactly are you hoping to integrate story and character into the design?

The basic idea. The Superdome will be used as a stage whereas the monster will be wrecking the rest of the city. MJ and Godzilla are placeholders until I get my actual concepts done. I'm thinking of the giant robot concepts like Jet Jaguar, Ultraman or Power Rangers, where they do a little dance and grow to giant size. Sounds like something MJ would've done in one of his videos eventually.

Don't miss the Tardis at the lower right. I'll need to create a new building or change the angle a bit to get the people closer to the camera. The ninja's are the Doctor will be observing the destruction.

The giant robot concepts like Jet Jaguar, Ultraman or Power Rangers ideas sound great as does the including the reaction of people in the foreground.

Some quick sketch and scans just to get some costume ideas out.

The Dancing Ninja emerges! His story will come later.

I used an MJ pic from the internet to do a sketch over to get the basic costume ideas out. It's a mix of random ninja elements and the costume from Smooth Criminal. I'm trying to decide what accessories he'll have but nothing yet.

My brother is a pretty big MJ fan so I got his aid to get the pose I'm looking for. Dancing Ninja is going to be aiming his ninja magic at the monster but I actually want him snapping his fingers. In other words "Snap"... "BANG" There are elements from all 3 of these I'm going to use.
