Greetings artists,

I have always wanted to be a CG-artist and I decided to try and make a living out of it. The first thing I want to do is polish up my skills as a Animator/generalist and start studying at a university. Now I've heard about several good schools like Bournemouth university and the Gnomon school, and sadly there is also a list of universities that don't deliver quality (for their money). I wouldn't mind traveling to another country for a couple of years, but I'd rather stay in my own country for multiple reasons.
So my question is, are there any universities in the Netherlands that deliver good quality programs/courses? I've been reading some things about the HKU (Hogeschool voor Kunsten Utrecht) and I've been planning on doing the following programs: Bachelor of Art & Technology (3D computer animation & visual effects) and after that the EMMA ISCA (European Media Master of Arts - Image Synthesis and Computer Animatio)

Any expierences, thoughts of things you heard about this school would be highly appreciated, thanks!

Hey Joey, welcome to cgtalk.
Havent heard anything about those places you mentioned but there is also a media study in Amsterdam. I dont remember the name of the school but they have a yearly vfx day where all the big name app makers strut their stuff.
