View Full Version : How do I import a melscript and it says there permanently?

I am pretty new to maya, may be this is kinda a stupid question

I downloaded a few handy mel script from highend, but everytime I imported them, when I restart maya, i have to import them again.

Is there a handy wait I can save it on the shelf permanently?

You can select and MMB drag the script from script editors input field to shelf or place it to the scripts folder of your C:\Users\User_Name\Documents\maya\2009\scripts directory and then source it.
