Олег, Муха просто офигенная!!!
08-26-2003, 12:04 PM
Mmmmm!! thats certainly alot of detail!!!! great modeling, but the lighting seems a little washed out on the color version.
08-26-2003, 12:14 PM
My oh my....................... i got sshock to see the suspensions, gears, and hey!! i see a fuel injection system in there!! :P
good detail. How long did you take to finish up the whole model inclusive of texturing?
08-26-2003, 12:24 PM
awesome mechanics, I'm not keen on the colour one, but that's just because I don't like that minty green colour, the B&W one is very well done  you must be incredibly patient
08-26-2003, 01:12 PM
Very cool
Can you do some close-ups please?
Wow, nice details! :applause: what's the polycount on the model? :D
[edit: uhh, opps, nevermind! I missed reading your construction details because I went straight for the links, and then forgot to check back... I'm tired :p]
08-26-2003, 01:54 PM
wow, nice attention to detail.
I don't want to even fathom how you could design something so intricate. Nice work.... looks like a lot of dedication went into this piece.
How long did it take to render?
My latest animated short (http://www.studentfilms.com/film/get.do?id=549)
Thats crazy whack man, thats straight up bitch ass quality work. you got the 9 O on that 311? and dont forget to choke the chicken on that piccy, otherwise your results will be mad weak...
08-29-2003, 07:09 AM
Wow! Intense detail man. Very good stuff
08-29-2003, 07:38 AM
Have you looked at grasshoppers up close? I imagine you have, judging by the pic. They really are such intricate, delicate, robotic creatures. Like every insect, a tiny marvel of evolution. Its so nice I just wanna squish it.
08-29-2003, 07:40 AM
Nice modeling, but I think that you could add different shades of green to your bot to make it less uniform.... good work
08-29-2003, 08:26 AM
nice, very nice!
like the detail level on that one
08-29-2003, 08:40 AM
why isnt this on the front page yet ?
08-29-2003, 09:13 AM
Amazing. As all people say, the attention to detail is awesome! I love the insect desing too.
Congrats!! GREAT WORK!
08-29-2003, 09:28 AM
WOW! WOW! WOW!......I am shocked with the detail man! very full attention to the work and this work is a very good example to any artists that want to go far in this line...
All the best and keep up the good job !...wish to be like you hehehe...

08-29-2003, 02:45 PM
The Detail is more than amazing!
Iґve done a lot of technical modelling and robotic stuff too, but I never ever integrated THAT much mechanical stuff.....
4 months? To be honest: I would never have the patience to construct mechanical parts for 4 months on one model..
The only thing I would personally change is the rendering itself. A bit more contrast and a better lighting - man, make it look really photorealistic!! The model deserves it!!
08-29-2003, 03:02 PM
jeebus!!!! thats a lot of detail. awesome work, does it move?
08-29-2003, 03:18 PM

08-29-2003, 09:56 PM
you must go into a hynotic state to get those details. you crazy.
08-29-2003, 10:08 PM
Wow, simply amazing. How long did that thing take to render?
08-29-2003, 10:20 PM
I must respect the amount of work and detail that went into this model, but isnt it a bit overkill? A lot of the detail could have just been created via bump map or displacement map instead of modeling.
Fantastic dedication, hard work etc. (and nice design too!) But there's no chance it'll be animated, is there?:surprised
If you do, you'll definitely need a tin can model.
08-29-2003, 11:21 PM
WOW...that is just amazing!!!!!
08-29-2003, 11:23 PM
Wow! Chiort pabiri!
4 months? That's pretty fast, i wouldn't be able to finnish it in 4 years!
08-29-2003, 11:24 PM
You can almost hear the metal claws screeching against the glass!
08-29-2003, 11:47 PM
hopefully you didnt lost your mind.
08-29-2003, 11:52 PM
WOw, that's my kind of stuff. I like all the little pieces of metal gear. There are a lot of details, but without losing the overall shape. Good work. :applause:
08-30-2003, 12:06 AM

MWE WANT'S MORE ANGLES!
08-30-2003, 12:47 AM
:applause: O U T S T A N D I N G ! ! ! :applause:
08-30-2003, 12:56 AM
Whow, that is so very cool, oleg!
Four months is a long time, seems like it paid off though. Is it going to be used in a bigger project?
I agree with some of the comments about the shading. It's cool that it is one color only but some different tones would be good too.
08-30-2003, 01:21 AM
Absolutely amazing details!!! :buttrock:
I'm very impress.
Good work.. waiting for more :applause:
08-30-2003, 02:28 AM
WOW! Is it possible to render close ups or other views? :)
08-30-2003, 02:32 AM

08-30-2003, 03:39 AM
If the devil is in the details, you're that' much closer to the evil one! WOW!!! I'm drooling on this! Only 1.2 mil polygons? Geez, I'm doing something wrong over here.....WonderfuL!
My hat goes off to you....sweet model ;)

08-30-2003, 07:20 AM
One darn fine model you've got there. But you should look into giving it some more detail. It looks too much like just a rough volume right now.
Yes, I'm kidding! Most people would pass out with convulsions before even having finished the legs of that thing... Impressive, to say the least.
08-30-2003, 09:42 AM
Wooooooow My god !I never see a model which is so complex.
 Crazy work.

Crazy work, man.
It really looks like it could move (technically i mean), kinda reminded me of a spider from the movie Wild Wild West.
Как ты планирывал эту модэль то? В прогрессе или модэлил по концептам?

08-31-2003, 01:16 AM
...BEAUTIFUL. I agree with the comments about the lack of contrast. I prefer the bluish one over the b&w.
You definitely must give us some detail shots, that is recquired.
Congratulations, this is stunning!
I wish your website was navigable. I couldn't find much on it... certainly didn't find anything as cool as this there. Anybody know the key to that lock?

Nothing much to say but excellent work, love the fact that his feet look like lil bugs also :)
Great style and work here, I absolutely love the first pic (although the pose is neutral) but the Mech pilot gets all the props here :) very nice. I'll add those to the gallery.

you work is so amazing!
I have visited your website yet.then have a quession: Did all works were made by yourself?sorry:>these work are beyond belief!

I apologize to answer too late. Thank you very much for appreciation of my artwork. If you want to know a bit more about the process of its modeling, you may visit that link:
I tried to describe everything there. The wireframe view is also presented.
"Flying Machine" is a non-commercial project. I haven't made an animation yet, the hardware upgrade is needed. The rendering with Cebas FinalRender took less than 8 hours (1600x968 pixels).
Sooth to say it's my first experience in the field of robot's modeling. Some of my artworks you can see at http://gkart.r2.ru/Gallery/Oleg/People.htm
The last images are shown on the top of page. Not all of them were based on my ideas. For example, http://gkart.r2.ru/Gallery/Oleg/People/Warrior.htm - this scene is made using Leonardo da Vinci's drawing.
