hi!
This is the configuration I'm directed to:

-Utilization: 3d archtiectural visualization in 3dsmax + vray, and intensive rendering 24/7

-CPU (x2) 740.50euro
Intel Processore Xeon Quad Core 5.86GT/s MMS 1066MHz LGA1366
E5520 2.26 GHz, 8Mb Boxed no Fan 80W (BX80602E5520)
-Motherboard 458.33euro
Intel Workstation Shady Cove S5520SC Intel Xeon® 5500
Audio, 2Lan1Gb, 6SATA(RAID(0/1), 2 PCIe X16, 12x DDR3 (S5520SC)
-RAM (x2, 16gb total) 595.94euro
Kingston DIMM DDR3 ECC 1333MHz (Intel)
8Gb (2x4Gb) 1333 Ecc Reg Cl9, x4 w/TS (KVR1333D3D4R9SK2/8GI)
-Video Card 448.36euro
PNY NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800 PCIe x16 2.0
Retail 768Mb GDDR3 192bit, 2x Display Port + 1x DVI-I (DL) (VCQFX1800-PCIE-PB)
-Hard Disk 44.16euro
Hard Disk Seagate SATA 3 Gb/s 320Gb, 3.5"
Barracuda 7200.12, 320GB 7200rpm 16Mb (ST3320418AS)
-Floppy Disk 5.26euro
Floppy Disk Drive Sony 3.5" 1.44Mb
Pearl White, Oem 1.44Mb (MPF920-Z/131)
-CD/DVD 20.64euro
Sony NEC Optiarc Dvd-RW SATA Ad-5240s-0s Silver
+24x8x12x -24x6x12x, Bulk (AD-5240S-0S)

I'm doubtful about Case and PSU

Till now I've used the Stacker by Coolermaster
-Case 185.18euro
Case Tower Cooler Master Stacker 831
Black 831 Special Edition (RC-831-KKN2-GP)

I'd like to try a new one; if someone of you can advice me a full tower with good air flux on the same price more or less, accordly with your experience.
Other available models on the shop I'm referring to are: Aerocool, Coolermaster, Enermax and Silverstone.

-PSU
About PSU I've no idea
this models available on the shop: Antec, Be Quiet, Coolermaster, Corsair, Enermax, Nesteq, Nox, Seasonic, Silverstone, Yang-TI, Zalman.

Too much choice for me. Till now I've had experience just with Enermax and Coolermaster, and I have had no problem; anyway I'd like an advice. Take in consideration that I'd like to make a machine that could "survive" for a long time :).

-------
Just 2 question now please that could help me to better understand hardware configuration:
1) Xeon E5520 has a FSB clock of 1033Mhz while Kingston ram I've choosen is 1333Mhz. This difference could make the ram utilization not complete? So have I to buy a ram with a FSB clock of 1066Mhz like the CPU?
2)My little renderfarm is composed by 3 PCs with this configuration:
Xeon E5410, S5000XVN motherboard, 8gb of RAM..
Could the hardware difference with the new machine I'd like to do create some problems during distribute rendering with 3dsmax + Vray?

That's all, I thank you very much in advance for any kind of help.

Bye!

PC Power & Cooling or Corsair for the power supply, a 750W should be about right. Why such a small drive? A modern 1TB+ drive will perform much better for not a lot more money. Triple channel memory configuration would perform a little better (install in three of a kind). Cheers!

I think that 2x8GB modules wouldn't work well with two quad-cores. I think you'd experience better performance and save a LOT of money with 4x4GB modules...

I've choosen a little hard disk 'cause I've yet a storage HDs system, so I need one just for install few softwares

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean when you say "triple channel" and "install in three of a kind", can you try to explain me again please?
This is the tested memory list for the motherboard:

Yes you're right, in fact they are 2x (2x4gb)
"Kingston DIMM DDR3 ECC 1333MHz (Intel)
8Gb (2x4Gb)..."

Thank you very much guys
