Just Lovely stuff...
The eye is particularly successful..pearlescent. I think you'd get more milage from the character if you hunched him over a bit..put the centre of gravity nearer his feet.

nice work . i like the brighter one better,but i think you still have some initial composition problems, its too cramped and i would ad to it on the left side some beautiful forrest panorama with enchanted tower or something ...

I just wanted to say, that this is a very excellent piece of work. Beautiful colors and great details. Reminds me of artwork for MTG. actually its better than some of the art work for MTG.

awesome work man! I love the dark crystal and this peice deffinately captures the feel of the movie. Good colors and composition. I like the newer images with the birds better, it gives more details for your eyes to move around the image more. Good job.
