View Full Version : Intersecting polly problem

I have a model that has been physiqued and has a morpher modifier on it. The problem is in the animation I'm using light tracer and I'm getting a pure black irregular hard shadow on a jacket. The shadow is being caused by a few pollies being to close to each other or intersecting.
Now for the question: Is there a way I can edit those pollies and keep all the information from the morph targets and the physique modifier? All I have to do to solve the problem is to move six pollies over but then all the morph targets are forgotten and so are the envelopes. Any help is greatly apreciated.

I think we are going to need a pic on this one. Make sure you include a wireframe, a shaded wireframe, and some good shots of the problem renders.

I ended up putting a two sidded texture on the jacket so when the back side of the polly comes near you barely notice it.
