How do I install plugins?

In 4.0 there is a folder on the c:drive called aw inside that should be the plugins folder if its not there, its in a subfolder, 4.5 and 5.0 in program files-> aliaswavefront-> maya(version here)->bin-> plugins. To use in Maya just open Maya up and go to Windows->Settings and Preferences-> Plugin Manager. Just check the boxes that you need for your plugin. Hope that helps.
