well just realised as i dont have a degree and gnomon program was not a degree program, so i need a degree. No specific reason of looking for a degree program after attending gnomon.

I don't understand. I mean, I looked at your demo reel. Its great.
I don't think you should have a problem finding work.

If you "need" a degree for whatever reason. Find a community college
pick the easiest program to go into and get that degree.

Your reel is gorgeous, you seriously do NOT need a degree! Now with that being said, if you CHOOSE to go for one, I'd go for a cheap degree at Community College or something.. but if I were you, I'd be sending my reel out and getting ready to work in the industry!

In the field of 3D/acting/other performance arts, it is more about what you can do (sell yourself with a showreel) rather than the diploma you hang on your wall. Unless you plan on not making VFX your career, I wouldn't suggest wasting the money.

I would trade in my degree to have your type of skill work. I wish i would have gone to Gnomon instead of westwood college.

well some of us know how hard it can be for people from out of the country (usa) to get a job here. i think maybe he feels that getting a degree will help his chances for getting work outside his home country.

although his reel is great, when applying for a visa, they could care less. they want to see that you look good on PAPER

Good reel. As a former Gnomon student. I don't get why you feel like you need a degree....i guess if you want to teach it would help.

In reality, the only thing that you have to represent you when you send your reel in, is exactly that your reel. As far as i know, as a modeler/artist its all about your skill.
If getting a degree will make you feel better by all means go ahead, but the best way to put it is this way, say you spend what 2 maybe 4 years on a degree, but you can get a job, what would matter more 2 or 4 years from now.

Good work. I think if you're having a hard time finding work it's sucks, but i can say it has more to do with the economy more than anything.

No my friend, You think is all because i studied at Gnomon ? Nop, its nothing liek that, its all about hard work, School only teaches you tools, Yes i know you herd that many time. Its all about how you see things :)

what do you mean by reputable school?
you dont have money barrier? try full sail or academy of art.

I almost go there almost. but faith choose different path, i took some other school instead ,
