View Full Version : Hotkeys files in Maya 5

Has anyone else had the experience that Maya 5 doe snot recognize the hotkeys file? I have one that has been editted but maya will not obey the mappings unless I manually enter them again. I can see no difference between the file I was using to replace and the one resulting from my manually entering them into the hotkey editor. I get the same problem with maya 5 between 2000 and XP.

i think the userHotkeys only work correct if you replace the userNamedCommands.mel too.

Thanks.. that's the problem allright! Why it couldn't just be one file I'll never know?
