Hi all,
I stumbled across CGNetworks & CGTalk just a month ago, and have been a daily visitor ever since.
Lemme just say that there are some INCREDIBLY TALENTED people posting their work here and viewing them is one of the highlights of my lunchbreak at work!
Having this online community is trully inspiring, and made me want to start drawing again.
So, this weekend (bank holiday in the UK) - I dusted off my old drawing board, pads and pencils and started sketching.
Here's a little doodle of a dragon I did in pencils, scanned in as lineart and cleaned up in Photoshop. I then took it into Painter and attempted to create a style akin to the kind that used to feature in the Children's Story Books I used to read when I was a kid.
NOTE: I'm only *just* starting out exploring chracter design and digital painting - so ANY AND ALL FEEDBACK IS GREATLY APRECIATED.
Let it rip....
cheers,
R.
