View Full Version : New modeling tutorial: the Generic Human Ear.

Dear fellow CG doers and dwellers,
you may remember me from the Modeling Topology Guide (http://gregory.kramida.home.comcast.net/~gregory.kramida/AlgoTutorials/TopologyGuide/) I wrote awhile back.

Finally, I announce my next tutorial series: Human Anatomy Modeling.

Part 5 of the tutorial is complete and ready for viewing: the Generic Human Ear (http://gregory.kramida.home.comcast.net/~gregory.kramida/AlgoTutorials/HumanAnatomyModeling/GenericHumanEar/) . Other parts are not yet published, I will get to them in due time.

The tutorial is for modelers of all experience levels and backgrounds. All you need is a good enough computer to run blender. You may use any 3D modeling application of your preference to complete the tutorial.

Hey guys, any reflections, comments, etc.?

I am working on Part I right now (gonna take me a couple more days to set it up).

Part I is "blocking out a female body" and currently includes around 130 slides (may go up to 150) but the slides are very detailed, some are just explanatory, so any experienced modeler would breeze right through it, while any beginner would find most (hopefully, all) slides useful.

If you have some elaborate advice / addition you'd like to make, email me at
gregory (d ot) kramida (a t) comcast (d ot) net (trying to avoid spam here) or just post it here.

If anyone wants me to, I can also provide a version of each tutorial for download (so that you can access it offline, for convenience.)

Allright, I think it's fair to announce the release of Part 1: Blocking out the Female Body (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=25&t=843471) here as well. As usual, I'm open to comments, questions, and critique.

Tank you, KevBoy. It's nice to hear I must be doing something useful...

I'd like to see everyone's feedback on the 2 new tutorial parts, please, - are they useful? Are there typos? What questions do you have, clarifications would you like?
