Sorry for my poor english .
I viewed the video of fengzhu drawing class but I still don't know how to draw the perspective space lines right and effective .
It seems I don't catch the key point of it .
Can anyone give me a suggestion ?
Thanks so much !!

This link is the most comprehensive one on perspective I've seen:

Thanks Luna for the link. Lil groggy so it isn't making a whole lot of sense to me right now =P. Will check it out when I wake up. From what I've read I'm getting a little bit confused.

Scott Robertson has a very good series of Gnomon DVDs you would be interested in and was one of Feng Zhu's instructors.

As for books, "Basic Perspective Drawing" by John Montague was first published in 1985 and is still the single best perspective drawing book. "Perspective For Comic Book Artists" by David Chelsea is another good book, though nowhere as in depth as John Montague's. Some level artists I've spoken with have also recommended "Perspective for Interior Designers" by John Pile in that it relates perspective to architectural and interior design related forms.

Also, checkout Google's book section since they have many books with both full and limited views that I'm sure would be of some help.

Best of luck with your endeavors.

Thanks so much to Luna & Vine !
I tried reading the " elements of perspective " recently ,
and it's really excellent & clear .
Scott Robertson's DVD is so efficient practical for hand drawing perspective , and thanks for that I know FengZhu's basic techs in his artworks.
The other two books seems also very useful in different area to help me realize perspective deeper , and can I get these books in the internets ? or maybe I should go library better ..
But it seems not so easy to get them in china's libraries.

Anyway thanks so much for advice!!

I would like to add "Perspective Made Easy" by Ernest Norling to books you should look into. In my opinion, it offers one of the simplest and most comprehensive introductions to perspective available.

Cheers and God bless.

Ooh, thanks for that Robert; I'm just starting to read through the beginning, and it's really quite good.

If anyone is looking for an excellent perspective video series, I'd direct you to Marshall Vandruff's Perspective Lectures (http://www.draw123.com/perspective/); the video quality itself is not that high, but his teaching is top-notch. It's sort of expensive though, but one can always read through Perspective Made Easy or the link that Robert posted for a free curriculum.

Practice daily - you'll eventually get a feel for it and it'll come naturally to you with time.
