View Full Version : Wacom Tablet Properties will not open Win7?
Hi,
So I have been using Windows 7 for about 2-3 months now and I cannot for the life of me get my tablet properties to open up in my control panel. I have updated drivers, reinstalled drivers and nothing I do seems to work.
Does anyone know a solution to this? I've never gotten it to open since I got Windows 7.
Thanks,
Josh

I have an Intuos 1 and my drivers open okay in W7 x64. My drivers are called this pro612-5_int.exe .
I am using the Windows 7 Drivers. Has anyone heard of any problems with the Wacom Intuos3 + Windows 7?

Contact Wacom, they are fast at replying.
I contacted them and I'll post their solution if we can find one in case anyone else is having this same issue.
I'm using Wacom Intuos 3 as well with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. No problems with the drivers off the Wacom site. Do you see the Tablet icon in the control panel? Does it not do anything if you click on it? Do you get an hourglass at least?

I use the tablet icon in the control panel. It doesn't do anything. No hourglass.
Still waiting on Wacom to respond... it's been *looks at calendar* 4 days...ugh...
Ummm... ok, so I contacted them 15 days ago. I'm assuming I'm not getting a response from them lol

Sorry to hear that Dren. I always got a quick response. I guess I won't be making that suggestion again anytime soon.

Hey there,
On the wacom forums there have been massive issues with compatibility with Windows 7. I myself have been expieriencing difficulties and have been following this thread quite closely http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2249. Anyway Wacom have just released a new driver, it seems to be working for me and im on Windows 7 64 bit, fingers crossed it'll work for you also.
Heres the link
http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=208
but before installing this driver make sure you uninstall any previous drivers, from my expierience it doesnt like undating from previous drivers.
Hope this helps.
Ok, well it looks like I have the panel opening up now so I can adjust sensitivity and everything. Unfortunately, Photoshop doesn't recognize the pen at all. I can't even move the mouse in Photoshop, but if I use any other program the mouse will move whilst using my tablet. Any ideas on that one? lol
