CGTalk - XSI 3 extra objects

Hi Guys,

I have just playing around with XSI 3 and doing the boombox tuts, I found that everytime I do boolean and merge 2 object together it always leave the original object undeleted. After a while this could be a real pain in the @$$.

I wonder if there is a button to turn off retain original shape?

And what's everyone's favorite of selection method? I like outliner like one in Maya but I'm a bit confused to use one in XSI (not used to it yet).

it would be a real pain in the ass if it didn't leave the original objects when one was in persistent mode instead of immediate mode as that way the boolean object sources can be adjusted PROCEDURALLY and animated.
Note the booleanOp in Create is different than the one in Modify, you may prefer the later.
No option yet afaik to keep A or A+B etc.
