Hi Everyone!

This is my short animation film done for school thesis project.

Overview : A little seagull POM is bored of his life trapped in his nest, since he cannot fly despite his enough age. Also his meal which his mother brings everyday makes his life tasteless. He one day finds what makes him happy, which at last gives him a real happiness in his life.

That was cute. The design of the momma seagull was a bit strange, but the character animation was spot on. I mean, really, really excellent. There was not a second I did not think the bird characters had an actual thought process going on. I did not feel this as much with the human ice cream vendor, but the major emotions were well conveyed. Also, then ending of the short can be seen as having much deeper meaning than simply the resolution of the immediate story. I saw it as the turning point of a young person growing up and overcoming their own selfish nature.

Very well done.
