View Full Version : Baseball Animation
Jero3D 12-28-2009, 12:43 AM I've just done this with the help of Jason Ryan's tutorial, and I really like how it looks. It's my first animation with a character like this with arms and upper body and all that stuff, I only animated balls and pendulums and those balls with legs but nothing like this character :P I had some problems with one of the elbows that kind of shakes.
Please critique!

I changed a lot of things and push the poses more and I added some little things and went over all the cruves of the graph editor again.

Looking good so far. the only thing that really stands out is the anticipation before the swing. I think his foot comes up too soon and holds for too long. The upper body looks good but i think the foot shouldnt come up for maybe half to a full second later then it does.
Best of luck!

Thanks a lot for the critique Justin!! I've delayed the leg for about 7-8 frames because if I delay it more the keys will get on the other keys when he's swinging.
