Hi guys,

I am making a sci-fi action concept which has characters bearing slight resemblance to the characters of Alice in Wonderland...

Here's my villian..., who is inspired from the Evil Queen of Hearts.
however, here she's a robot and not a human... she was created by a scientist, who considered her his most noble creation, hence the name given to her is Queen of hearts... but things turn bad when she starts gaining power and eventually becomes a bad ass murderer...

here's my concept sketch for her... I would love some suggestions too :)

hey i have started coloring the lineart... but i am still confused about her face... :( should i make more robotic or give her a human look.... like half man half machine... i m also very new to digital painting and i guess i m still learning how to get the lights correctly... if someone can guide me here it'll be awesome :)

Just paying attention to the story for the moment, I am having a hard time deciding between cyborg, armoured human, or 100% robot. Given that you mention she is 100% robot, I'd suggest making the face obviously *not* human to really drive that idea home.

Also, the head gear doesn't quite echo the other 'heart' motifs you have there. Playing off such a well-known concept probably means you need to make it a little more clear to the viewer... so that someone just sees the image without any words or other context and knows who the character is supposed to be (within reason, of course). Maybe you could consider adding some weapon that is meant to rip hearts out of men's chests? :)

I like the concept quite a bit, and I think the lighting is not nearly so far off as you worry. Looks good :)

hey thanks Lokki for ur suggestions... even i was a bit confused to what to make of her. Well I have finally decided to make her a cyborg... I have also added a few details to her head gear as it was empty... i had thought of a few but made it more wacky :P ... I tried to get the lighting as correct as possible cos I suck at it.... any comments and critiques will only save my life :)
