Hi everyone:
I'm modeling my first organic model, a human head (Björk's head to be more precise). But I'm having some troubles and I need advice. The first issue is that though she has a huge amount of photos taken, she looks different in each one (haven't seen anyone that chamaleonic before!), and after seeing over a hundred pictures, haven't found a good profile one.
So, having references of different looks, i ended up with a head that looks like all and no one at the same time :(
Does anyone knows where to get good photo references of Björk's head? and any advice about my models will be gratefuly welcomed.
The images below have a ridicolous texturing job, a projection of a frontal picture of her face, just to get and idea... though the features match proportion/placing, the model still doesn't look like her...

It's hard to give commentary on the model without images of the head from various views and wireframes. As for finding more images of Bjork go to google and click on the images tag and do a search.

Hi again. added a new photo as texture and did big changes after trying to understand every volume in her head. some details i just can't get rigt (mostl with her nose and chin), but i think that will leave them for later now. i'm reading tutorials on texturing to get on with the work.
i'm very happy to discover and develop control over the 3d modeling tools, an to work in this field (just wanted to say that out loud). the following images are some new renders, with wireframes as suggested. again, comments and advice is welcomed. by the way, the ear is way off place because is deattached for the moment.

thanks. dumb question: do you know why nosetrils instead of being all-black receive almost direct light, and how can it be tweaked?

I don't know how you are lighting the face but if you aren't using shadows then that would be one reason.. anyway in Maya for example you can put a point light with a negative light value in the nostrils and it will suck the light right out of the nose.
