View Full Version : Add/stitch to existing mesh weirdness...
Hookflash 08-23-2003, 11:41 PM Has anyone else been getting weirdness when attempting to add/stitch splines to existing meshes? When I try to do this, the new cps are slightly off (ie, half a cm from my mouse pointer) when I add them.

Ok, try this: Create a new model and switch to front ortho view. Create two horizontal splines, one on each side of the x axis. Now, try to stitch a vertical spline between these two splines, but make sure it's some distance from x=0 (y axis). Your cps should be offset along the x axis (the further you are from the y axis, the greater the offset).

I can't test it now but it sounds like an old bug that I for one reported a long time ago. The deal with AM is that if you find a bug then you should report it to hash at support@hash.com with a clear description and preferably a project file and wait for it to be fixed. The fix could take anything between a few days and a few years.
Good Luck.

works flawlessly here. are you sure you haven't accidentally put the window into perspective mode or something?
