Good God! That's bloody fantastic! The intricacy of the modelling is superb.
The only crit I have is, I know some of the edges are supposed to be sharp but some of your edges look VERY sharp, particularly on and around the shin plates and the chest plates. It looks like you would not get ANY specular highlights off of them at all which to me diminishes the realism.
I realise this is supposed to be inspired by anime so perhaps you prefer it that way.
I find a lot of anime I see does not translate well into 3D, but this really does. Maybe look into those edges, then if you were to texture it and put it in a kickass scene, I'm 100% sure you would have front page material.

That really is a class model, going to be very impressive if you decide to animate it???
Definately like to see wire, trying to learn how you guys all manage to do this.

i'm working on the textures now but i can see where ppl are coming from when they say some edges seem too hard...
kick arse mate! see i knew watching Cartoon Network's gotta be good for something hehehe ;)
be awesome if u model the pilot from the series too. one thing though, the fingers look a bit like human fingers without any visible joints...

Most impressive. I've seen Gasaraki, and this seems pretty damn accurate to me. The relevant details all seem to be there. Perhaps more detail in the wrist/hand area. Its been a while since i've seen Gasaraki, But i recall the hands having a sort of gloved appearance. (If i recall, they were metal underneath)
Either way, best of luck!

just wondering if anyone knew where i could find some pics of tanks in mud/desert(high res), i can't seem to find any decent pic to help reference the textures off....
might wanna check google for some military pictures...i think i seen one or two amphibian vehicles with mud all over it... i'd look for it if i wasn't on dialup :p
btw... wat program did u use for to model it?? i noticed some of the edges are thicker than the others...

Thats a really cool model. I hope you animate it. It'll look cool in action.
