CGTalk - Crashes on startup

Hi

My 3dsmax crashes on startuo in a 10:1 ratio.

Is there any way to fix it?

Specs: Toshiba Laptop, 1.1 Gig, 256 meg ram, 16 MG Video.

yup :

0) Install the latest drivers for your hardware
1) Reinstall Max
2) if 1 doesn't work, format and reinstall Max
3) if 2 doesn't work, change your hardware ! Laptops aren't very cool for proffesionnal 3D apps

and if you're running the latest version of MAX with a lot of plugins your system resources (out of the 256mb) is going to be almost gone.

try delete 3dsmax.ini, mostly works !!!
(just take it easy, it recreate a new ini file on program startup)
