My Demoreel 09 is finished :D , I would like to hear your comments!
In most of the projects I was responsible for shading and lighting, but I also did a lot of modelling, at the end is a detailed shot description.

the spider looks amazing. can you please tell me how did u create the subtle rough edges of the spider web?

Wow what a inspiring reel. Absolutely amazing Spiders. I love the great detail on the 2nd one. But your other stuff is absolutely amazing too! Top notch quality work here!

@e-moo: the spiderweb in the first shot is a mental ray mia shader, and the web has lots of small drops on it (just spheres, 300K or so) i think that contributed to the "rough" looking edges. In the second shot it is a vray shader and also a lot of drops.
the rendering was made at PURE Render in Berlin and was send to the REBUS Renderfarm, so the rendertimes weren`t a Problem at all, but afaik the rendertimes there were very good for that quality.
