View Full Version : Lightning Cheak C&C needed

Ey guys ive been working on a scene for a while and just got the time over to finishe it. BUt my biggest concern is the lightning couse its my weakst point.

THis are some test renders for the scene and im wondering if its ok, dont look at the outside i need to add some envoirments later in :P

It is very good already! I guess you are using GI to get the fill lights.

From the long shadow, I think you going for a early morning or late sunset look. So, you could have some color and saturation on the sun. Add some softness of the shadow. They are too sharp now.

You could also use IES light profiles for the interior lights to add an extra realism.

i agree. since the sun is lower in the sky, your shadows need to be softer. the lighting looks good for the "time of day". if you want to bring more light into the room you should place sky portals/area lights in the doorways and windows of the interior.

a little more light in the back room where the stairs are would be good, imo. great work so far
