Hey guys. As I stated before in my previous posts, I'm basically new again to Max since I haven't used it in over 6 years.

With that being said...I'm trying to have particles start in an initial state that mimics geometry, and then apply a quick force to dissipate them. What operator in pFlow do I have to use to get my total sum of particles to take the shape of an object?

I bought those CG Academy DVDs on pFlow and, although great resources, those didn't really answer my question either.

You can either just use a position object operator if you just need the shape. If you need the geometry, you can do something like this using prebroken geometry:

If you are making a point cloud to render in Krakatoa, you could look at the basic tutorial posted here which creates a teapot-shaped cloud and then blows it away:

Here is how the basic scene was made:

If you want to fill up geometry's volume, the Geometry operator of PFlow is too slow and imprecise for that, but you could use the Krakatoa PRT Volume which is fast and forgiving even with semi-open volumes:
http://software.primefocusworld.com/software/support/krakatoa/render_geometry_volumes.php

Then you could use the Krakatoa PRTLoader Birth operator to load the particles in PFlow and apply forces there:

Not finding this PRTVolume in my modifier panel at all. Is it hidden somewhere else?

Well, it is not a modifier, it is an object. I wouldn't call it "hidden", but I can see how it might be hard to find if you haven't customized a Krakatoa toolbar. We provide a dedicated MacroScript with an icon which says "GEO" which lets you select any geometry and hit the button to make a PRTVolume for each selected object.
Alternatively, in the Create tab of the Command Panel, go to the Krakatoa category and create a PRT Volume (the button next to the PRT Loader) manually.
