Hi, I´m new in this forum so I´d like to introduce my self. My name is Guilherme Lopes, I´m an engineering and 3D professional, working on Maya since the first version.

Well, about the problem in IK is that: There´s no update on the handle´s position when the root joint is moved. The problem is ilustrated in the figure below:

I realize the update of the position hapens when some kind of constrain is used (pole vetor constrain, for example). I solved this problem in IK with no constrains using expressions in handle´s rotate, for example:

ikHandle1.rotateX = 0;

This action force Maya to up date the handle position. I´m not satisfied with this solution. Beyond this, I´d really like to know if it´s a problem in Maya or a lack of my knowledge.
