I'm trying to install softquadro drivers on winxp. When I uninstall the nvidia drivers and reboot, it detects my card and reinstalls the drivers before I have a chance to do anything. How can I turn off whatever is doing that so I can manually point xp to the softquadro drivers? Thanks!

It's like a 4-step process described in detail on guru3d.com and nvworld.ru. It involves nviewstrap, softquadro and some anti-anti-softquadro hacks and some other stuff. You may be better off asking the people who actually wrote it (don't you just love Russians, like myself?) on the abovementioned sites. And it doesn't work with FX obviously. It shouldn't detect your card for what it is in the first place.
