CGTalk - Need help on thumb

The hand overall maybe bad or whatever but it looks fine for what I want right now but my only problem is I can't seem to get the thumb to look right. any tips on what I can do?

Take a look at a real hand, get some reference images, etc. Right now whole hand doesn't look that great. I'd seriously get some reference images and start moving vertices to match up.
