please advise
would you mind explaining what you want.
Maya do it. Maya does what?
Do you want to make that character?
Did you make that character and you are showing it to us? Do you want a critique?

I took it to be a question, loosely translated... "Was this done in Maya?"
Yes it was. The model is by Dave Komorowski I believe. The ear is a bit different than what he has in his gallery, but the basic head shape is spot on to his head modelling tutorial.
Check his website here... The Hobbit Guy (http://www.thehobbitguy.com/)
WTF? <Thread In Texturing Forum> (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83455)
What beast is saying, because of language barrier, is that attached model of the beast is done in Maya. Please provide crits, suggestions, or analysis.
Sorry dont want to be an ass about that.
I just saw this The model is by Dave Komorowski I believe.
and jumped the gun:blush:

This thread has moved quite a bit, when I responded earlier it was in the root application specific / Maya forum.
Like I alluded before I cannot claim that this model was made by DaveK, but it is obviously the same character he created for his Polygon Modelling Tutorial (http://www.thehobbitguy.com/tutorials/polymodeling/index.html).
There is nothing wrong with that. If Beast-xx is seaking texturing crits, then the underlying model doesn't matter.
Beast-xx, the texturing looks good. I especially like the translucence in the ears. I think that gives it that extra bit of realism that is often missing.

Well I like beast's model... I like the skin shader he has going (if it was beast that did it, i assume people are honest be nature)
It is clearly not the same mesh... but it wouldn't be a stretch to say it was the same "race" maybe a worker / slave version of Dave K's tutorial which looks much meaner and tougher.
With that said here is what I base that off of.

As for crits on the model/ texture...
I’m not a fan of that nose but oh well...
I think the shading in the skin creases is too broad and dark (should be harder lines and thinner lines)
Lips are too dark, should be more red less um purple (I’m basing that off the skin color)
Looks like he’s been smoking the ganja... he’s got blood shot eyes
He has too many freckles for my taste the look over done...
His skin bump map is a little coarse (stuff to big) and too strong (bump is set to high, unless this is an old geyser creature he shouldn't have that deep of wrinkles.
I think the picture is to high of a contrast, and the shadows are too dark
Here is my changed version if this helps.
