Hi all,

I am currently working on my first ever modelling and texturing project in mudbox.
I've finished modelling a creature and would like to add skin pores and fine details by painting a bump map in mudbox (4k , 32 bit) however it seems like pixels are still showing...
Is it normal, am I doing something wrong ? Is it only a display option in mudbox to make things lighter ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Cheers

What level are you applying fine detail. How many faces? If you could post your level zero mesh wireframe it would help. Non-square, elongated faces are always going to cause problems when sculpting.Do you have any?

I am at level 5 right now (6.7 M polys) and painting on the face, so I doubt the faces are that distorted.
I can't check right now as I am at work but will do asap.
