View Full Version : Are there any good tree generators for XSI

Hi all,

I was wondering!! are there any good tree generators / plugins etc that are available for XSI.

In need of a heap of trees with foliage at a medium to low resolution and have textures already applied as such.

They have to be 3d as well, I can't use 2d photos like they use for architechural models.

They support XSI and offer a 30 day demo for you to test out.

Also have a look at:
http://www.onyxtree.com
While it does not support XSI directly, it does support the old 3ds format and the obj format. (Both of which load into XSI.) I don't know if they have a demo version.

This brings up a question I've had for a while...

Does XSI have a plug-in for them, or can XSI natively create L-Systems?

Not natively, but he has an addon to generate L-Systems check it out MindThink LSysXSI - L System for XSI (http://217.160.138.15/ohm/lsysxsi/)
