CGTalk - New to zbrush question

Hi,
When I am sculpting a mesh that has really sides really close to each other, the brush goes through and paints both sides. This is making it difficult for me to paint ears and other objects with sides very close to one another.
Is there an option on the brush I can turn on to only sculpt whats visible.

I usually use the masking tools (ctrl-click) to mask off areas I don't want sculpted.

Thanks, but the problem is that even the mask brush goes through to the other side of the mesh.
