Hi!

My team and I have been working on creating a photoreal cloth shader for our scene.

We're revisiting the coat in Mudbox to add more wrinkles and accessories to the coat but we need to push this cloth shader to the next level.

If anyone has any advice for different passes, render layers, techniques or inspiration, I would really appreciate it.

Render Layers:
Beauty
AO
Incidence

Render Passes on our Beauty Layer:
Depth
Diffuse
Indirect
Reflection
Shadow
Specular

Thanks for your time!

The Fresnel incidence feels a bit strong from the look of that.

Without knowing the environment this character is in it is hard to say what adjustments should be made. Is he falling or in the wind? Is this outside or inside? What type of light? Cloth color and texture will react differently between sunlight, florescent and tungsten light.
