It looks good, but I dont understand the concept behind this piece, is she some sort of an elf soldier? also the company name on the skin texture is a turn off.

Very nice.

That is amongst some of the best texturing I have seen. I really like the hair too - though it seems too fine at the top (like she is balding). What techniques did you use to achieve that result?

I think her eyelashes are too big though, it is the only thing that is really distracting.

I also agree with Kevin Grand about the placement of the url on her face - it would be better if it was on her clothing or a piece of jewellery or something.

hmm, does she not get any armor? I do hope you don't make her scantly clad, I think your cloth for the shirt is an amazing texture.


The hair even looks spot on. However the chest does seem a bit weird, and the texture on the face is a bit weird with the blemishes. I almost though they where out of focus shadows.

Think those are nipples, seriously. Don't see the outline of any bra.

And I agree that is very well textured. With the right lighting and removal of the company tattoo it would be near photorealistic. Major props to those involved.

Looks all really good, all the textures look great, accept there seems to be a UV seam along the shoulder/sleeve. It would make sense at the shoulder if there were some hint of stitching, although to have that stitching flow the length of the arm might look wierd.

Anyway, that UV thing would all I'd mention, otherwise looks great.

Hmm... she looks a lot like one of my mother porcilin dolls. Good work on the hair. I dont really like the name on her cheek it distracts to much. I think you should make the ears a little more prominent.

If that hair was done in maya I guess it's made with paintfx - I really would love to see how you made the pfx strokes and what settings you used in your brush - it looks fantastic.

Yes,the hair was made with Paintfx.

the modeling and texturing is good, but the concept is way off. she looks like a movie actress in a camo shirt. a female soldier should have short/tied up hair, boots, helmet, gear harness and a weapon. give your model a red cocktail dress and a microphone and it's perfect. nice hair.

lol, that won't work I guess :) I'm at my parents now, and I don't have photoshop here, but if I had I could've shown you that it is very easy to remove the name (with the clone tool for example)

If she's a real soldier, the new haircut is a LOT more practical. It won't get in the way of vision/helmets, and won't catch on things.

it looks very well done, but when comes down to the texture it loos like she has very old skin like its to veiny, lots of wrinkls that look out of place, im saying this because if shes an elf, she should look young, not that old, and if shes a soldier she shouldnt have makup,especially around the eyes, plus your eye lashes look very clumped together but i think your on the right track. fix those things and then see how it turns out.
